Christmas for the Kids in Gardner

Today Indian Creek’s Gardner Campus teamed up with Mission Southside to serve families in Gardner. Over 60 plus families were served today in multiple ways. When you add in the free Garage Sale over 500 people were served. Over 1,500 toys were given away. We met some tangible and real needs assisting with gifts and food. We also offered some fun as kids could have their picture taken with Santa. Nearly 200 took us up on the offer. ┬áThat gives us another chance to meet a deeper and more enduring need because if the families come to the Gardner Campus Christmas Eve service at 5 p.m. on Monday night, Wheatridge Middle School, they get a portrait sized photo of their time with Santa. We pray that many families will feel the love and come to the service where we will warmly receive them as a church family and invite them into relationship with Jesus–the true gift of Christmas.

When you consider this was accomplished by a campus that averages about 125 this is pretty astounding stuff! Way to Live Out your faith Gardner Campus!
