It is appalling and chilling to hear the latest story of a cold blooded shooter stealing the lives of innocent victims. I’m sure gun control advocates will jump on this and perhaps there is a better way too oversee how an individual mom can obtain the number and kinds of guns she did but I think criminals who want guns will find ways. Call2All

Wednesday Belinda and I were privileged (along with several KC Pastors) to spend a couple hours at lunch with Mark Anderson the President YWAM and the leader of the house church movement in a country halfway around the world.  It was really exciting to see detailed plans of how the Great Commission can be fulfilled in our lifetime–2025. Presently there are approximately 1150 unengaged people groups.

Thanksgiving

A week ago when I was overseas Kirk Kaiser and I were talking about the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday and how we would spend it. A few from our team asked, “what is Thanksgiving?” It reminded me that we have a great privilege in having a nation founded “under God.” How cool is it that a whole nation stops to give “thanks”! At the same time that I had that thought, it was crowded out by the concern that, as a country, we are losing our moral foundation.
